I've been a die-hard fan of the WNBA and the New York Liberty since the league started in 1997. Even though I photographed these same 2 teams at NJ's Prudential Center, it was a thrilling honor to shoot them on their home court in Madison Square Garden. As a fan attending the games at The Garden for so many years, I often found myself watching the photographers sitting under the basket and wondered when it would be me sitting there. Well tonite, IT WAS ME!!! Incredibly exciting, and plus I got to shoot the game with my photographer friend John, aka "Gemini Keez" (check out his work!). Even though the Liberty lost, it was still a great night, and one for the memory books...
